Just less than two hours from now, another much awaited fight between two great fighters, dubbed as the “Lethal Combination“, Manny Pacquiao will battle it out with the Mexican - American David Diaz.

If Pacquiao wins this match then it will go down in the history books as he will be the first Asian to hold four world crowns in four weight division as well the first Filipino to reign in the 135-pound class.

Preliminary fights will start at 8PM EST / 5PM PST (8AM PH time) and the main match should be starting after 2 hours or so. I’ll be watching it live again for FREE as usual.

With the anticipated release of Firefox 3 this June, the Firefox community have set an initiative to get a new Guinness World Record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours.

There’s no actual date yet on the release of Mozilla’s new version of its flagship browser but you have the option to be automatically notified through email one it has become available to the general public. With Mozilla releasing Firefox 3 Release Candidate 2, the final version should be out in the next couple of days.

As of the moment, over 800,000 people have already pledge their support and the numbers is increasing by the hour. So far, the US is in the lead while the Philippines have garnered more than 5,000 pledges from people who will support this event.

My plan to attend the Vista launch at the Moscone in downtown San Francisco didn’t push through. To my dismay, the registration was already closed since friday last week and the wait list has reached its capacity.

Since I don’t have things to do at that time, I checked Microsoft’s website for other events and found one at the JW Mariott which is just a few blocks away from the Vista launch venue. The event was about the role of software in a small business environment. I made a reservation, printed out a map (I’m bad at directions) and went on my way.

It looks like retailers will join the Vista launch fiasco and will be having special promotions tomorrow. Retailers will be giving away either free instantly or free after mail-in rebate with the purchase of Vista.

Microsoft Philippines will lauch their new Windows Operating System at the SM Mall of Asia this coming February 3, 2007. The event will include the country’s hottest band and fireworks display. Prizes will also be given away during the event so it might be worth while to attend.

Finally! After weeks of editing scripts and some minor server problems, my website is now online. Though the site still needs a lot of work, it will be updated when time permits.

It’s now 1:00 AM and I still need to report for work tomorrow. Time for me to sleep.
