Microsoft is releasing a new mouse on the 9th of next month and the only hint the company is giving is “Say Goodbye To Laser”. From the looks of it, it would be a new mouse technology but no detailed information has come up yet.
The 3M (Microsoft Mystery Mouse) caught my attention and I really want to know what’s "new’ on this upcoming mouse from Microsoft. Would it be like the one in Apple’s Mac Air? Or maybe a wii-mote motion sensing device? Or maybe we’re going back to the good-old ball mice again.
I guess we just need to wait until September 9 to find out.

Interesting, Microsoft seems to be coming up with goods lately. First it was Photosynth, now a new mouse technology?
But they still have a long way to go if this would do anything to help the image of Vista to the public.
jhays last blog post..Hoping for an Eraserheads Concert Part 2 (but only after Ely Buendia is 100% OK)

Hi Lloyd, A new kind of mouse? I use a touch-pad so I’m not sure if this will do anything to laptops…I do know that I can’t seem to handle a mouse. When I wore out my touch pad on my old lap top I had to get a temp. mouse and I was all over the place, like a drunken soilder. Not kidding, sometimes I couldn’t even find the cursor…very spastic.
So we will have to wait and see what Microsoft comes up with for a mouse. I’m working on your stuff so hang in there for me, but I also have a few questions I’d love to run by you later. Great post Lloyd…oh I also want to do a post on you on my blog…I want to interview you! Will send you a few questions if you don’t mind?
P.S. todays a National Holiday/banks are closed. FYI

lankapo,
It should be better that laser when it comes with accuracy and hopefully affordable to most consumers.
Jhay,
I definitely agree with you. It will take a few more time before Vista catch up with the popularity of XP.
orgl,
From the looks of it, it will be better than a laser or optical mouse.
glorie,
Thanks also for dropping by.
Jj,
Will look forward to your email.
Touch pads are not really for me. I’m more on a mouse person.
