Mozilla made Firefox 3 Released Candidate 1 available to the general public. Mozilla engineers expect to ship the final release by the end of June 2008. If you’re ready to check it out, you can download a copy from this link.
Firefox 3 Release Candidate 1 is available in more than 45 languages as a public preview release intended for developer testing and community feedback. It includes new features as well as dramatic improvements to performance, memory usage and speed.

My FF has been crashing a lot lately. Good thing I have the Session Restore option from the Tab Mix Plus add-on so I can recover the tabs I have before FF crashed.
As much as I want to try out FF 3, I’ll have to wait until all my add-ons are compatible with FF 3, then I’ll download and install it.

That’s one of the things I don’t like with the new version, you’ll still need to wait for your add-on developers to catch up.
