An interesting tidbit according to a US study:

U.S. residents who prefer Google (Profile, Products, Articles) Inc.’s search engine tend to be richer and have more Internet experience than those who primarily use competing search services from Microsoft (Profile, Products, Articles) Corp., Yahoo Inc. and America Online (Profile, Products, Articles) Inc., a new study has found.
