The spyware company 180solutions filed suit yesterday against Zone Labs, makers of the popular ZoneAlarm firewall and other computer security products. The lawsuit charges that Zone Labs’ software identified both the Zango and 180search Assistant applications, which deliver pop-up ads to users as they perform Internet searches, as a “potential threat to the user’s security and/or privacy.”
