Woot!!! 70 GB of download

I’m now making a back up of my system before I reinstall Windows XP. Itâ€™s been a long time since I did this, maybe because I was always busy lately. I checked my Azureus statistics log and it showed me 70.97 GB of data downloaded in less than 5 months. Not bad for an average downloader.

No! It's not what your thinking! My hard drive does not have 70 GB of PORN!

I’m just an average downloader on the Internet

I don’t know the reason but somehow I have this habit of downloading movies, softwares, music and games from the Internet then deleting it with just a click of a button. Addiction? I guess so… anybody heard of getting addicted for downloading stuffs?

I think I developed this habit of mine on the early years being on the Net. Actually, I remembered that I was able to download a 200+mb file using a dialup connection only. It took me 4 days of non stop downloading before I completed the task. I think I’m the only one crazy enough at that time to do that on a computer with a dialup connection.

Now, I have a broadband connection…. 200 MB will only take less than 2 hours to download and with an average download of 1GB per week, filling up my hard drive is inevitable. Let seeâ€¦ after 70GBâ€¦ the next best thing is hitting 100 GB but before that happens, Iâ€™ll get myself a DVD writer to satisfy my downloading needs. A nice Christmas gift for a download junkie like me
