The world’s second largest maker of x86 microprocessors, Advanced Micro Devices, disclosed plans to introduce enhanced multi-core processors that support built-in DDR3 memory controller as well as to present platform initiatives that allow more than 8 physical chips to be installed into a single system.

By 2008 AMD is set to introduce its so-called Direct Connect architecture 2.0 that would improve interconnection between processors and processing engines within a chip. The new interconnection architecture will allow more than 8 processors to be connected in a single coherent memory system without the need for additional logic devices. The company plans to offer the architecture that will allow to easily build up to 32-way systems.

I just stumbled on this site a while ago. Do you still remeber and missed playing Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong and Pacman? Well this site have it! Games are from the 80s and early 90s. Lots of Nintendo and arcade games run right on the site. I missed these games….. nostalgia.

Last October, I noticed that my Canon A70 digital camera exhibits distorted images while in shooting mode. After some research, I found out that it was known problem with the vendor-supplied CCD image sensor used by Canon. I then contacted the local distributor wherein they suggested bringing my camera for repairs for FREE. Normally, it will cost me around P5000 to have it repaired, good thing I was able to read Canon’s response about the malfunctioned CCD.

However, I still need to wait because of the large number of consumers affected with the same CCD problem. They told me that they are short on available parts and the next batch of CCD parts from Singapore will arrive this December. I was disappointed because of the long wait I have to bear but to my surprise they informed me that they can lend me a unit while my camera is being serviced.

Nokia is holding off on mobile gaming for a few years and will not be building new versions of the N-Gage gaming phone.

The company launched the N-Gage in 2003 but sales have been disappointing and, according to the company’s roadmap, mobile gaming will not be a focus until 2007.

Nokia is concentrating on mobile music for the rest of this year, and next year’s main push will be on driving mobile television.
