In a recent interview with Dengeki magazine, Director Tetsuya Nomura disclosed some additional details on the worlds that will appear in Kingdom Hearts II.
The rumored Tron world will be called “World of Space Paranoids” and will feature light cycle battles reminiscent of those seen in the movie. Recent Japanese promos that featured Lion King locales are from the “Pride Rock” world where Sora, Donald, and Goofy will go native with new animal personas.
Returning worlds include Atlantica and Hollow Bastion and Nomura also confirmed the appearances of characters from Final Fantasy VIII as well as the popular black mage Vivi from FFIX.

A GAMER fed up with his new Xbox 360 crashing every 20 minutes has fixed the problem by raising the power supply off the ground with some string.
Dan, from Duluth, or ‘goldeneyemaster’ as he is known, told the game spot forum here that he thinks the main reason that the xBox 360 freezes is because the power supply overheats. The solution is to lift the power supply off the floor and allow the air to circulate better around it.

A SO-CALLED “prizefight” set of benchmarks run by news.com has pitted a heavyweight champion against a dead lightweight failure, if the results are to be believed.
There is no question that the AMD X2 is a superior product compared to the Intel Pentium d. That’s one of the reason why Intel is finally abandoning P4 netburst architecture for their upcoming next generation P5 architecture based on their successful pentium-m mobile architecture. Hopefully when Conroe debuts H2 2006, it will give the AMD X2 better competition and give us consumers more choices when it comes to dual-core desktop processors

To most of us, the floppy has been dead for years, that isn’t stopping OC ModShop from editorializing on the reasons the floppy should be laid to rest. I’m not sure why there is a chick with a gun in all the pictures but I like her… err, I mean, it.
There are ways around having to use the floppy, but these methods are band-aids and does not fix the source of the problem (that the industry is supporting this antequated hardware). I was so near retiring the floppy disk in my systems that I hadn’t used one in years… until a few weeks ago when I ended up buying three.

An interesting find during my morning web-surfing was about a recent article by a young German that has much to say about how the three most popular desktop computer operating systems (OSs) (Apple Mac, Microsoft Windows, GNU/Linux) differ. Between the lines, it also says much about how the computer users themselves differ.
In my humble opinion this article is a bit biased about the MAC, it’s not my intention here to argue the rightness or wrongness of any culture, nor is it my intention to debate the substantive value of any OS versus any other. There are some points that were valid and I agree with it but there are some are not. But he still needs to do some research before he dished out some rants about an OS, which he never had a chance to own.
